There is a long history of military service among GAA players. Most are now forgotten. 

The PLACES print pattern is inspired by old military maps of Tralee, Munster and Ireland to reflect unity, community, camaraderie and national spirit.  



John Joe Sheehy stands proudly alongside some of the trophies he won with Kerry. Sheehy’s name is carried to this day on John Joe Sheehy Road in Tralee.
