Remembering Jim Tough Barry, hurling coach, boxer, opera tenor and tailor. A remarkable GAA personality, winning. 15 aLL Ireland titles over 40 years in GAA coaching, 13 with his native Cork hurlers, 1 with Limerick hurler and 1 with Cork footballers. A noted opera tenor and a fervours champion boxer , he also ran a men’s suit tailoring service.
One of the great, if almost forgotten GAA figures, the jersey is numbered 15 to commemorate his titles won between 1926 and 1966, made in port using recycled polyester yarns. The repeat print is a musical note to remember is rare and brilliant opera talent.
