LIXNAW GAA - ERIN'S HOPE

ERIN'S HOPE LIXNAW AND IRREMORE BRANCH was the original name given to Lixnaw Hurling Club in November of the year 1884. The club grounds are based in Hermitage Park, Lixnaw on the banks of the River Brick and overlooked by Hermitage Castle. The Old Court, or Lixnaw Court is found across the river from Harmitgae Park and Hermitage Castle to comprise a demeaned which was home to the Earl Of Kerry from the mid 13th century to the late 18th century. According to historians Lixnaw Court and Demesne, including canals, Deer Park, gardens, avenues orchards, village and general built landscape rivalled the best in Ireland and London at the time. 
The club has won 9 county hurling titles in 1933, 1954, 1983, 1985, 1999, 2005, 2007, 2014, and 2018.
