Remembering Dublin’s war-torn All Ireland hurling victory of 1920.
Coached by the late, great patriot Harry Boland, Dublin won their 3rd hurling title defeating Cork in a final delayed by the War of Independence, and eventually played on May 14 1922.
Original sky blue colour remembers the 1920 All Ireland winning Dublin hurling team from Faughs GAA.
Left chest carries a goalpost print with the winning final scoreline either side and the year 1920. The Dublin crest features three castle turrets in flames as seen on the original Dublin jersey of 1920.
The three turrets ablaze represent the passionate defence of Dublin by its people in times of attack.
