LA/32

Ireland excelled at the iconic 1932 Los Angeles Olympics winning two gold medals by hammer-thrower Dr Pat O Callaghan and hurdler Bob Tisdall. Another athlete, Eamonn Fitzgerald, competed in the triple jump. An accomplished footballer he won the All Ireland title later the same year. He died in 1958 at 53 years old. His lay lost for decades until recovered in Deansgrange Cemetery, County Dublin in 2004.

The LA/32 jersey carries a print taken from a ticket stub for the 1932 LA Games and remembers Ireland’s early Olympic legacy.
